Pastor Rick and Donna Moncrief

Pastor Rick accepted the Lord as his Savior May 1, 1979. He soon felt the call of God on his life to preach and reach out to all people. For 27 years,Pastor Rick has served in several different ministries including as a youth pastor and an associate pastor. Pastor Rick graduated from River of Life Bible College with a BA degree in Ministerial Studies.

Pastor Donna grew up in a strong church atmosphere. She felt the call of God in her life at an early age. Music has always been her passion. With a strong background in music and song, Pastor Donna leads the congregation into the presence of the Lord through Praise and Worship. Pastor Donna is also the director for the women's ministry at Joshua's Place. Women of Purpose and Girl's Talk are ways Pastor Donna brings the women of the church together in unity for the Lord.

In December 1981, Rick and Donna married and began evangelizing and working in the local church. In October of 2000, God placed the calling upon them to plant a church in Jackson, Georgia to reach the untouched, the hurting, and the broken people in this community and beyond. Pastor Rick has a heart for the lost and for those who feel intimidated by the traditional church. Pastor Rick and Donna have been married for 29 years and live in Flovilla, Georgia. They have 3 beautiful daughters, Hannah, Katlyn, and Olivia. Their greatest passion has been to be the best parents and role models they can be for their family.

Patsy Burnette - Associate Pastor / Administration

Patsy is Pastor Donna's mother and has been at Joshua's Place from the beginning. Raised in a pastors home, she received a lot of experience in church ministry as she was growing up. Saved at the age of 9, Patsy received her formal Bible training from Berean School of Bible and River of Life Bible College. She also completed Biblical Counseling training from Biblical Counseling Ministries. She ministers by teaching, preaching, singing, writing and administration.

Patsy lives in Locust Grove with her husband Ronald. Other than Donna, they have a son - Ron, and four beautiful grandaughters.
